1Who we are
H View (hview.in) is an independent Indian digital publication founded by Satya Hemanth and Harika Behara. In this policy “H View”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean the H View team that runs this website, and “you” means anyone who visits or uses it.
This policy explains how we handle personal information in line with India’s Information Technology Act, 2000, its rules, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, as they apply to us.

Information collected automatically
- Usage: pages you visit, the page that referred you, and broad device type, used to count readers and improve the site.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and security logs, used to keep the site safe and working. For comments we store only a scrambled (hashed) version of the IP address, to stop spam.
- Cookies and similar tools: see the Cookie Policy for each one and what it does.
3How we use your information

H View shows advertising served by Google AdSense, which helps keep our stories free to read.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to H View or other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to H View and/or other sites on the internet.

5Who we share information with
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers who host the website, send emails or provide analytics, and only so they can do that work for us.
- Google for advertising and analytics, as described above.
- Authorities when the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety and property of our readers, our team or others.

7Your rights and choices
- Access and correction: ask what information you have shared with us and have it corrected.
- Deletion: ask us to delete your comments, messages or subscription.
- Withdraw consent: unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in each email.
- Cookies and ads: manage cookies in your browser and personalised ads in Google Ads Settings.
- Nominate: name someone to act for you if you cannot, as allowed by law.
Email connect@hview.in with your request. We may need to confirm it is really you before we act, and we aim to reply within 30 days.
8Keeping information safe
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access to our admin tools and spam protection on every form. No website can be completely secure, so we cannot promise that information sent over the internet will never be accessed without permission.
9Children
H View is written for adults and older teens. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 without the consent of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has shared information with us, please contact us and we will remove it.

11Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as H View or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. For significant changes we will add a notice on the site or tell newsletter subscribers.

Does H View sell my personal information?
No. We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
How do I stop receiving the newsletter?
Use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any H View email, or write to us and we will remove you.
Can I delete a comment I posted?
Yes. Email us the article link and the name you used, and we will remove the comment.
How do I turn off personalised ads?
Visit Google Ads Settings at adssettings.google.com. You will still see ads, but they will not be based on your browsing.
Is my email shown with my comment?
No. Only your name and comment are shown. Your email, if you give one, stays private.
